The Happy Adventure Inn hosts an acclaimed seafood and wild game restaurant featuring locally sourced products and traditional Newfoundland dishes. Overlooking the Happy Adventure harbour, the restaurant offers guests the opportunity to taste some of the Atlantic ocean’s finest offerings while observing the very harbour from which their seafood was brought to shore. The Happy Adventure Inn’s restaurant is the predecessor to Chucky’s Fish and Chips, formally located in downtown St. John’s, and it still serves the same fish and chip recipe that Chucky made famous. The restaurant offers Quidi Vidi draft beer, wine by glass and bottle, and a fully stocked bar including many local spirits. While the specials menu changes frequently, the Happy Adventure Inn regularly offers Newfoundland Snow Crab, Moose burgers and steaks, and of course fresh cod-fish among many other options from both land and sea.
The Happy Adventure Inn’s capacity is limited, and as a favorite among both locals and visitors reservations are highly recommended as much in advance as possible.
